Jalapeno Cheese Ball

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/4 cups shredded extra-sharp Cheddar
  • 1/4 cup chopped pickled jalapenos, patted dry
  • 1 garlic clove, grated
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp lime zest
  • 2 tsp lime juice
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Topping: 1/3 cup chopped fresh cilantro

Directions

  1. Mix ingredients in a medium bowl. Scoop onto a large piece of plastic wrap coated with cooking spray. Use the plastic wrap to help you form the mixture into a ball, then completely wrap in plastic. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour and up to 2 days.

  2. Before serving, place topping in a shallow dish and roll the cheese ball in it, pressing to adhere.
