Ingredients

  • 1 jar of Nutella
  • Snow Cookies

Directions

  1. Open the jar of Nutella and spread the bottom of one cookie with the chocolate-hazelnut spread.

  2. Place the other cookie, bottom down, on top of the Nutella filling.

  3. Repeat above instructions for all of your cookies.

  4. Store in a cookie jar or box in the pantry or cupboard. You can also refrigerate, but you’ll take the chance of having your sandwich cookies get soggy.

  5. Other ingredients that can be used as the filling of Snow Sandwich Cookies.

  6. Any flavor of jam—use a thin layer or it will squeeze out between the cookie halves. To solve this problem, mix a little powdered (confectioners’) sugar into the jam so that it is thicker and will maintain its shape.

  7. Any flavor of jelly—mix a little powdered sugar into the jelly so that it is thicker and will maintain its shape better.

  8. Cashew Butter

  9. Peanut Butter

  10. Almond Butter

  11. Commercial frosting, the kind that you’ll find on the baking aisle

  12. Melted semi-sweet chocolate chips thickened with a little powdered sugar

  13. Melted butterscotch chips thickened with a little powdered sugar

  14. Melted milk chocolate chips thickened with a little powdered sugar

  15. Melted peanut butter chips thickened with a little powdered sugar

  16. Melted white chocolate or vanilla chips thickened with a little powdered sugar
