Crispy Christmas Trees

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cups pastel or plain mini marshmallows
  • 3 cups crisp rice cereal
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped pecans
  • Green decorator's sugar
  • Assorted sprinkles
  • Confectioners' sugar


  1. In a heavy saucepan, melt butter. Stir in marshmallows; cook and stir over low heat until melted. Remove from heat; stir in cereal and pecans. Let cool just enough to handle.

  2. With greased hands, shape into trees. Roll in green sugar. Decorate with sprinkles. Place on a serving tray; dust with confectioners’ sugar.
