Cheese Fondue

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb Swiss Cheese
  • 1/2 lb gruyere cheese
  • 1 lb. cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups sauterne
  • 1 T Kirsch
  • 1 tsp corn starch
  • 2 loaves French bread

Directions

  1. Rub inside fondue booker with crushed clove of garlic. Heat wine at low temperature til bubbles start coming up from bottom; Add cheese a little at a time stirring constantly in one direction til melted and blended. Add Kirsch and corn starch. Never LET CHEESE BOIL! cut up bread in bite size pieces; Spread on cookie sheet and toast in oven. Serve with fruit and tea
