Breakfast in a Bun Burger

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • Kosher salt
  • Black pepper
  • 4 slices of Cheddar or American
  • 4 large eggs
  • 8 bacon slices
  • 4 buns
  • 4 toasted sesame seed bagels

Directions

  1. Combine the ground beef and salt and pepper into a bowl.

  2. Form the ground beef into 4 oz. balls. Turn each ball into a patty by using the STUFF side of the burger press to push it down.

  3. Fill half of the patties with a slice of cheese and 1 piece of bacon.

  4. Place the other patty on top of the stuffed patty.

  5. Use the SEAL side of the burger press to keep the two patties in place. Close the press firmly, which will seal the patties together. Release the press.

  6. Put the patties on the grill and cook for 6 minutes on each side.

  7. Place the eggs on the grill mat and fry for 4 minutes. Grill the bacon for 6 minutes.

  8. Serve on a bun with 1 piece of bacon and egg on top of the patty. Finish off with ketchup or hot sauce.
