Chunky clam and bacon dip

Ingredients

  • 1/4 pound cooked and chopped bacon
  • 2 - 6 1/2 oz minced clams
  • 8 ounces softened cream cheese
  • 1/4 c sour cream
  • 1/3 c finely chopped red bell pepper
  • 3 chopped scallions
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped fresh basil
  • 1 tsp horseradish
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 3/4 tsp worchestershire
  • Tabasco to taste

Directions

  1. Cook bacon

  2. Drain clams and reserve 2 tbsp juice

  3. In another bowl whisk cream cheese and sour cream

  4. Add in reserved clam juice

  5. Add remaining ingredients

  6. Serve with pita points, etc
