Crab Cakes

Ingredients

  • 1/3 C mayo
  • 1 egg
  • 2tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp fresh chopped parsley.
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp hot sauce
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp old bay
  • 2 tbsp green onion sliced
  • 1 lbs lump crab meat
  • 1 C saltine crackers(crumbled)
  • cooking spray

Directions

  1. Place mayo, egg, Dijon mustard, hot sauce, lemon juice, old bay, and green onion in a bowl and whisk to combine.

  2. Place crab and crackers in same bowl and gently stir to combine.

  3. Cover and chill in the fridge for least 1 hour.
  4. Preheat oven to 450 degrees

  5. Coat a sheet pan with cookin spray.

  6. Gently form chilled crab mix into equal size patties.

  7. Place patties on sheet pan.

  8. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.

  9. Serve immediately with a remoulade sauce and a wedge of lemon.

  10. Can also cook in a large heavy skillet with coating of oil. Cook each side for 3-5 minutes or until golden.
