Quiche

Cook time: 40 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. Sliced bacon ( or shrimp or crabmeat)
  • 1/2 lb. Swiss cheese, sliced
  • 1unbaked deep dish pastry shell (9”)
  • 4eggs
  • 1T flour
  • 1/2 t salt
  • Pepper
  • 1-11/4 c milk ( or light cream)
  • 1T butter, melted

Directions

  1. eat oven to 375.

  2. Fry bacon.

  3. Arrange bacon (seafood) in alternating layers with cheese in the shell.

  4. Beat eggs until blended and combine with flour, salt& pepper.

  5. Add cream and butter.

  6. Pour egg mixture over bacon and cheese.

  7. Bake 40 minutes until custard is set.
