Beer Cheese Fondue

Ingredients

  • 1/4c. Chopped onion
  • 1t minced garlic
  • 1T butter
  • 1C beer
  • 4C ( 16 Oz) shredded cheddar
  • 1t flour
  • 2-4T half & half

Directions

  1. In saucepan, sauté onion and garlic in butter until tender

  2. Stir in beer, bring to a boil; reduce heat to med-low

  3. Toss cheese& flour; stir into saucepan until melted.

  4. Stir in 2T cream (add more if fondue thickens)

  5. Transfer to crockpot

  6. Serve with bread cubes, apple slices,ravioli, broccoli spears.
