  • 1 cup tap water, cold
  • 3/4 cup mayo
  • 2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tsp prepared horseradish
  • 3/4 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp ground yellow mustard
  • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp white sugar
  • 2 tsp blackening spice

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, add chicken, pickle juice, and water. Stir to combine and make sure chicken is fully submerged. Cover and refrigerate 2 to 3 hours.

  6. Add cooked chicken to BBQ sauce and toss to combine.

  7. Serve with pickled red onion and chopped chives.
