Air Fryer Bacon Cheeseburger Sliders

(from castro15’s recipe box)

Categories: Burgers

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
  • Kosher salt and black pepper
  • 8 slices cheddar
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked
  • 8 slider buns, split
  • 4 leaves butter lettuce, torn in half
  • 2 Roma tomatoes, cut into 8 slices
  • 1 red onion, very thinly sliced
  • Barbecue sauce, ketchup, mayo and yellow mustard, for topping

Directions

  1. Preheat an air fryer to 375.

  2. Divide the ground beef into 8 equal portions. Roll each into a loosen ball, then press them flat until they are each just wider than the slider buns. Make a small indentation in the center of each patty. Season the patties generously with salt and pepper.

  3. Place the patties in an air fryer basket in a single layer. Close the fryer and cook until the patties are browned and cooked through, 5-7 minutes.

  4. Place a slice of cheese and a slice of bacon on each patty and cook until the cheese is melted and the patties are cooked to desired doneness, about 1 minute.

  5. Carefully remove the patties from the air-fryer. Serve on the slider buns with lettuce, tomato, red onion, barbecue sauce, ketchup, mayo and mustard.
