Tortilla Chips

Ingredients

  • Corn tortillas
  • Safflower oil
  • Salt
  • Roasted Salsa Verde (see recipe) or Salsa Roja (see recipe), for serving

Directions

  1. Brush tortillas with oil. Sprinkle with salt and slice or cut into small triangles. Spread on a baking sheet and toast in a 400 oven for 15-20 minutes, until golden on the edges and crispy. Or fry then in 1/2 inch of oil. Serve with salsa.
