Hummus

Ingredients

  • 4 Garlic Cloves
  • 2 C canned chickpeas, drained, liquid preserved
  • 1 1/2 tsp Kosher Salt
  • 1/3 C Tahini (sesame paste)
  • 6 Tbsp Lemon Juice (2 lemons)
  • 2 Tbsp Water or liquid from Chickpeas
  • 8 dashes Hot Sauce

Directions

  1. Turn on food processor, fitted w/ steel blade and drop in garlic. Process until minced

  2. Add the rest of the ingredients & process until hummus is coarsely pureed.

  3. Taste for seasoning & serve chilled or at room temperature
