Mashed Potatoes

  • Yukon Gold Potatoes (2/person) or Russett
  • Butter
  • Milk, hot


  1. Peel, quarter & boil potatoes in salted water until soft (when stabbed w/ a fork, the potato falls off)

  2. Drain well & put back on burner for a few minutes (removes moisture)

  3. Mash with masher and add 1 stick of butter

  4. Use hand mixer to beat very well

  5. Slowly add hot milk until desired consistency
