Twiced Baked Potato

(from gabjos’s recipe box)


  • 8 medium potatoes
  • 1 c sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/4 c milk
  • 1 c cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper


  1. Bake potatoes with skins at 425 degrees for 45 minutes. Cut the potatoes in half the long way

  2. using a spoon scoop the potato from the center looking like a shell. Place the scooped potatoes into a bowl and add sour cream, garlic salt, pepper and 1/2 cheese. Mix well

  3. Spoon back into the potatoes, sprinkle the 1/2 c of cheese over the tops.

  4. place on a baking dish

  5. Warm in oven until cheese is melted.
