Toffee bars

Ingredients

  • 15 graham crackers
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 12 oz package of chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts

Directions

  1. 1- Preheat oven to 400

  2. 2- Line pan with foil or grease

  3. 3- Cover bottom of pan with graham crackers

  4. 4- In medium saucepan, combine sugar and butter; bring to boil

  5. 5- Remove from heat and pour over crackers

  6. 6- Bake 5 minutes

  7. 7- Remove from oven, sprinkle with chips and spread when softened

  8. 8- Sprinkle with nuts

  9. 9- Place in freezer for 30-45 minutes.

  10. 10- Break into pieces
