Lemon Cream Cheese Dump Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 box lemon cake mix
  • 1 can (20 oz) lemon pie filling
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

  2. Dump the Cake Mix:

  3. Pour the lemon cake mix into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.

  4. Add Lemon Pie Filling:

  5. Spoon the lemon pie filling over the cake mix, ensuring even distribution.

  6. Cream Cheese Layer:

  7. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Drop spoonfuls of cream cheese over the lemon pie filling layer.

  8. Melted Butter Finish:

  9. Drizzle the melted butter over the top of the cake evenly.

  10. Bake to Perfection:

  11. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes or until the edges are golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
