Egg nog pie

Ingredients

  • 1 9-inch prepared pie crust
  • 3.4 ounces of vanilla instant pudding mix
  • 2 cups of whipped topping, thawed
  • 1.5 cups of eggnog
  • A pinch of nutmeg or cinnamon.

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggnog and pudding mix using an electric mixer until it thickens.

  2. Stir in a dash of nutmeg or cinnamon for a festive flavor.

  3. Gently fold in the whipped topping, ensuring the mixture becomes fluffy and attains a pale yellow color.

  4. Carefully spoon the mixture into the pie crust, smoothing the surface with a spatula.

  5. Chill the pie in the refrigerator for a minimum of 4 hours, or preferably overnight, until it sets firmly.
