Snowball cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 5 Tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon fine-grain sea salt
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups finely chopped walnuts, almonds or pecans
  • 1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar

Directions

  1. Step1: Blend softened butter with powdered sugar. Add vanilla.

  2. Step2: Mix in salt, flour and chopped pecans.

  3. Step3: Form dough into 1 inch balls or flattened cookies and place on an ungreased cookie sheet.

  4. Step4: Bake in a 325 degree oven for 20 minutes. While hot roll in powdered sugar. Let cool and roll again in powdered sugar.
