Salmon Tacos Jamie Oliver

  • Flour
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • Yogurt
  • Salmon skin on filets
  • Blackening spice
  • Chopped white onion
  • Avocado
  • Mango
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Green onion
  • Basil


  1. Salmon skin on filets, season with

  2. Salt and pepper

  3. Cajun seasoning

  4. on both sides (be generous)

  5. Set aside

  6. Salsa

  7. Halve and quarter cherry tomatoes different colors

  8. Sliced green onions

  9. Chopped basil

  10. Hull and slice avocado and squeeze with lime and dice

  11. Chopped mango

  12. Season with salt and lime juice

  13. Cook salmon skin side down (on barbeque in summer) til skin is crispy

  14. Turn and cook on other side Peel off the skin and cook it a bit more let cool over a rolling pin

  15. Flatbread

  16. 4 heaping tablespoons of self rising flour

  17. 4 Tbsp water

  18. Dash salt

  19. Dash oil

  20. Knead and divide into four

  21. Roll out into circles (use a bowl if you want a perfect shape)

  22. Place on cooktop or barbeque til brown on one side and just a little on the other

  23. Assembly:

  24. Spread a little yogurt down the center of the flatbread

  25. Flake salmon on top

  26. Salsa and a little juice

  27. Crumbled crispy salmon skin and a little chopped basil

  28. Top with a little chili oil
