Cheesy Layered Meatballs And Ziti

Ingredients

  • 30 Italian Style Meatballs
  • 6 cups cooked ziti (about 8oz dry)
  • 2 cups prepared marinara sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Monterey Jack or mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup cottage cheese or ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. Thaw meatballs until slightly soft.

  2. Combine meatballs, pasta and marinara sauce.

  3. Spread half the meatballs and pasta mixture in a 2 to 3-quart baking

  4. dish or pan.

  5. Layer 1 cup of the shredded cheese and all the cottage or ricotta

  6. cheese over meatballs and pasta.

  7. Top with remaining meatballs and pasta.

  8. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup shredded cheese and the Parmesan cheese.

  9. Cover pan tightly with foil.

  10. Bake at 375 F for 45 minutes. Uncover and continue baking 15-20

  11. minutes until heated through
