Herbed Biscuits

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tbsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 6 tbsp. cold butter, cubed
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped parsley
  • 2 tbsp. water


  1. Whisk flour with baking powder and kosher salt in a large bowl. Cut in butter until it’s in pea-size pieces. Make a well in the center, then add heavy cream, parsley and water. Stir to combine, then turn out onto a floured surface and knead until smooth. Pat into a 3/4-inch-thick rectangle, then cut into 8 squares. Arrange on a baking sheet and brush with heavy cream. Bake at 425 until golden, 20 to 25 minutes.
