French Bread

Serves 6 people

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons yeast
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 2 cups very hot tap water
  • 6 cups flour

Directions

  1. Dissolve 1/2 cup water and yeast.

  2. Then add sugar, salt, oil, hot water, and 3 cups flour.

  3. Mix all and then add rest of flour.

  4. Stir it once every 10 minutes for 50 minutes.

  5. Then put into loaf pans.

  6. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.

  7. Mix margarine with garlic, butter and parsley.

  8. Sprinkle parmesan cheese.
