Grandma C’s apples

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs. Gala apples, peeled and chunked
  • 1 c. red hot cinnamon candy

Directions

  1. Heat red hots to 6 cups simmering water until melted.

  2. Add apples and additional water if needed to cover apples. Simmer until apples are tender.

  3. Refrigerate several days before serving. Apples will turn pinky red.
