Do-Ahead Egg and Sausage Bake

Ingredients

  • 1 pound bulk pork sausage
  • 1 cup Original Bisquick
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 ounces)
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
  • 6 eggs, slightly beaten

Directions

  1. Grease 2-quart casserole.

  2. Cook sausage in 10-inch skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until no longer pink; drain.

  3. Mix sausage and remaining ingredients.

  4. Pour into casserole.

  5. Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours but no longer than 24 hours.

  6. Heat oven to 350 degrees.

  7. Bake uncovered about 1 hour or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
