Mexican Steak

  • 1.25lb boneless round steak or steak of your choice
  • 2TBSP oil
  • 1-4oz can chopped green chilis
  • 1-8oz jar taco sauce
  • 1/2 C shredded jack or mexican mix cheese
  • rice


  1. Cut meat into strips, brown in oil

  2. place in 2qt casserole

  3. top with chilis and taco sauce

  4. cover and bake 350* for 40 minutes

  5. sprinkle with cheese…bake 5 minutes more

  6. serve over rice
