Sherry Cream Sauce

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1/2 cup dry sherry
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream

Directions

  1. In a medium skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook 3 minutes. Add flour and cook, stirring constantly, for 2 minutes. Stir in broth and sherry; bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes. Stir in cream, and simmer 20 minutes, or until thickened.
