Baked Crab Dip

Ingredients

  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, cut into 1-inch chunks
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons minced onions
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Old Bay Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
  • 1 lb fresh crabmeat, squeezed dry and picked over
  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley

Directions

  1. Position oven rack in the middle of oven; preheat to 475°.

  2. Microwave the cream cheese in a big bowl on high power until very soft, 20-30 seconds.

  3. Whisk in the milk, lemon juice, onion, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, Old Bay, and Tabasco.

  4. Gently fold in the crabmeat using a rubber spatula.

  5. Transfer to a greased 1-quart baking dish; bake until browned and bubbling, 20-25 minutes.

  6. Cool for 5 minutes before sprinkling with the parsley and serve.

  7. Serve with crackers.
