Apple Cider Vinaigrette

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cup cider vinegar
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 olive oil
  • 2 tsp. minced onion
  • 1/4 tsp. paprika
  • 1 Tbsp. poppy seeds (optional)

Directions

  1. Heat sesame seeds in a small skillet over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, 3 minutes or just until toasted.

  2. Microwave vinegar in a medium-size, microwave-safe glass bowl at HIGH 1 minute or just until dissolved. Add next 3 ingredients, toasted sesame seeds, and if desired, poppy seeds; whisk until blended. Store in refrigerator up to 1 week.

  3. Serve with chopped pecans, baby salad greens, crumbled feta and dried cranberries.
