Grilled Buttery Pound Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 12-ounce pound cake
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar, packed

Directions

  1. Cut the pound cake into 3/4 inch slices

  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the butter and brown sugar

  3. Brush both sides of the cake slices with the butter mixture

  4. Preheat a grill to medium-high and brush the grate with oil or spray with cooking spray

  5. Place the cake slices on the grill

  6. Close the cover and cook until the cake slices are caramelized and golden, about 1 minute per side

  7. Top with fresh berries or peach slices, and whipped cream to serve
