Guacamole

Always gets compliments.
My daughter makes hers different…she leaves out the Miracle Whip or sour cream, adds finely chopped fresh jalapeno and ALWAYS uses fresh lime, does not use salsa. (Hate to admit it…but hers is much better!!)
Serve with chips.

Ingredients

  • 3 large avocados peeled & pitted
  • 1/2 small onion finely chopped
  • 1 small tomato finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Miracle Whip or sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons picante sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice or lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 3 dashes Tabasco sauce

Directions

  1. Mash avocados with a potato masher. I like mine a little on the chunky side.

  2. Add remainder of ingredients, taste and adjust seasonings for your personal preferences.

  3. Chill.
