RedChilli Dates Chutney

Ingredients

  • Seedless dates : 1/4 cup
  • Dried red chilli : 1
  • Garllic : 2 pods
  • Ginger : 1/2 tsp
  • Tamarind : as needed
  • Salt : as needed
  • Sugar : 1/4 tsp
  • Mustard : as needed
  • Oil : as needed

Directions

  1. Cut ginger into small pieces.

  2. Cut dates into small pieces.

  3. Heat oil in a frying pan.

  4. Add red chilli, garlic and fry.

  5. Add ginger pieces, tamarind and fry.

  6. Remove the fried items and grind it in a mixie along with salt and sugar.

  7. Heat oil in a frying pan.

  8. Add mustard and when it splutters, add the ground items.

  9. Stir the contents well and when they are cool, store it in a bottle in the fridge.
