Pizza sauce

Very flavorful, but not too hot or spicy

Serves 8 people

Ingredients

  • Two onions
  • Garlic
  • Beer
  • 2 28 oz cans of crushed tomatoes
  • dried herbs - thyme, oregano, basil

Directions

  1. Chop two onions very small

  2. Caramelize very slowly

  3. When done add chopped garlic

  4. Then deglaze with a few tbs of beer

  5. Add 2 28 oz cans of crushed tomatoes

  6. Add rest of beer (up to 1/3 of bottle)

  7. Cook uncovered for a while

  8. Add thyme oregano basil salt pepper
