Spanish Rice

Serves 4 people

Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 tablespoons avocado oil, beef tallow, or lard
  • 1 cup rice
  • 1-1/2 cups guiso sauce
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 1-1/2 cups chicken broth or water

Directions

  1. Add oil to a pot and stir-fry the rice and onions until onion is soft and rice is light brown, about 10 min.

  2. Combine water or chicken broth and Guiso Sauce and add to rice and bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer until rice is done (about 15 minutes)

  3. Add more broth or water as needed
