Swiss chard with Garbanzo Beans

Ingredients

  • 2 T. olive oil
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup garbanzo beans, drained
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 bunch Swiss Chard, rinsed/chopped
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1 lemon, juiced

Directions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet; stir in onions, cook and stir for 3 to 5 minutes until soft. Stir in garbanzo beans, and season with salt and pepper; heat through.

  2. Place chard in pan and cook until wilted. Add tomato slices and squeezed lemon juice over greens, and heat through. Serve on plate and season.
