Chicken Adobo

Ingredients

  • Pork or chicken (approx. 1 slab of ribs or equivalent of meat, maybe more)
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 2/3 cup soy sauce
  • garlic (mashed)
  • black pepper
  • 1 cup water

Directions

  1. Coat the meat with black pepper. Brown meat in skillet, in a bit of oil. Pour in vinegar, soy sauce, water and garlic. Cook on med to med low until tender. Usually around an hour (give or take)

  2. e ingredients that don’t have amounts listed, is to your own preference. You can skip the browning and put all in crock pot…or brown and then into crock (better this way). Cook in crock pot on low 6-8 hours or high 3-4. Serve with salad.
