Fridge pasta

Created by using various leftovers from the fridge to make a pasta sauce.

Ingredients

  • 175g wholewheat pasta
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 1 leek
  • Marscapone Cheese
  • Creme Fraiche
  • Egg Yolk
  • 4 or 5 Chestnut Mushrooms
  • Parsley
  • Lemon
  • Grated cheese

Directions

  1. Put pasta in boiling water, everything else will be complete in the time it takes to cook.

  2. Chop bacon

  3. Put a small amount of oil in frying pan and add bacon.

  4. Chop leek and add to pan.

  5. Separate yolk from egg and stir it in with marscapone and creme fraiche to form the pasta sauce.

  6. Chop mushrooms and parsley. Add all of mushrooms and half of parsley to frying pan. Add other half of parsley to sauce.

  7. Grate cheese to use as topping.

  8. Once pasta is cooked, drain and combine with sauce. Squeeze half a lemon over it and stir in before serving and sprinkling cheese on top.
