Zesty Cabbage

  • 1 medium head of cabbage
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper – sliced
  • garlic powder to taste
  • chopped hot green peppers,
  • cajun seasonings (salt free) to taste
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil


  1. Cut head of cabbage in half for easy handling. Shred each half in a large bowl.

  2. Heat olive oil in large skillet, wok or pot.

  3. Add cabbage, chopped onion, bell pepper slices and hot peppers.

  4. Add seasoning, as desired.

  5. Turn heat on medium and cover.

  6. Cook for 10 minutes or until cabbage, onions and peppers are steamed.
