Ingredients

  • Half of Gino's pizza dough
  • extra '00' strong white flour, for dusting
  • 50g olive oil spread or butter
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 220˚C/fan 200˚C/gas 7.

  2. Turn the dough on to a floured surface and cut into 4 pieces. Roll 1 pieces into a long sausage, sprinkle with salt then cut into 5 × 2cm pieces. Roll each piece into a ball and put on to a well-floured baking tray. Repeat with the rest of the dough. Bake the dough balls for 7 minutes until just firm and pale golden.

  3. Meanwhile, put the olive oil spread or butter into a small dish with the garlic and microwave on high for 30-40 seconds until melted. Serve the warm garlic butter with dough balls for dunking.
