New Year’s Pork Ribs and Sauerkraut

Ingredients

  • 4 lbs sauerkraut
  • 1.5 onions, chopped
  • 2 red potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • 7 bacon strips, chopped
  • 2 apples, chopped
  • garlic
  • paprika
  • pepper
  • 2 lbs pork ribs

Directions

  1. Rinse sauerkraut

  2. Layer sauerkraut on bottom of glass baking dish.

  3. Layer potatoes, bacon, and apples over sauerkraut. sprinkle a dusting of garlic, paprika, and pepper.

  4. Layer ribs on top with fat side down.

  5. Bake at 375 degrees for 90 minutes.
