Paula & Carolyn’s Spaghetti Bake

Ingredients

  • 1 lb whole grain spaghetti
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 jar of your favorite red sauce
  • 8 oz cream cheese, cubed
  • 2 cups Italian blend shredded cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Brown ground turkey and drain fat while preparing pasta according to package directions.

  3. Return meat to the pan and add sauce. Stir in cream cheese and cook until cheese is melted.

  4. In large casserole dish, place a thin layer of sauce. Add a layer of spaghetti (about half), then top with half of the sauce, followed by 1 cup of cheese. Add another layer of spaghetti and sauce, but do not add cheese to top.

  5. Bake in oven for about 20 minutes. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top and cook for 10 more minutes.
