Pulled Pork (1/2 qt)

I used Coke and KC Masterpiece Original BBQ Sauce, but I would imagine any would be fine

Serves 4 people

Ingredients

  • Pork Butt (shoulder) 2.5 lbs
  • 1 can your choice soda
  • 1/2 bottle BBQ Sauce
  • Lawrys Seasonign Salt

Directions

  1. Generally coat pork butt with Lawrys completly.

  2. Place Butt in crockpot and pour in soda and BBQ sauce.

  3. Cover and cook on low 4-5 hours, larger butt make take longer

  4. After cooking 4-5 hours take two forks and shred the meat into bite size chunks.

  5. You can either let shredded meat sit in juices after shredding and stirring for another 30 minutes if you like but Personally Im a NC BBQ fan so I placed the shreeded meat into a quart ziplock bag with about 3 tblsp of vinegar and 3 tblsp of texas pete. Mix all together well. Again this part is your choice and where you get to experiment!

  6. Serve on Kaiser rolls and add more sauce if desired.
