Beer Cheese Dip

Ingredients

  • 8 oz Velveeta cheese cubed
  • 8 oz Sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 12 oz bottle dark beer
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder (or to taste)
  • 1/8 tsp. red pepper powder (or to taste)
  • 1/2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients in an microwave-safe bowl.

  2. Heat on high for two minutes and stir with spoon.

  3. Heat again on high for two minutes. If mixture is melted, mix with hand mixer until smooth. If not, stir with spoon and repeat heating at 1 min increments until cheese is melted.

  4. Makes approximately 2-3 cups of dip.

  5. Best served hot, can be refrigerated if needed. Serve dip with favorite chips, crackers, vegetables, fruits, or sausages.
