Spiced Pear and Raisin Chutney

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pomegranate juice
  • 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon McCormick® Ground Allspice
  • 1/4 teaspoon McCormick® Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon McCormick® Pure Orange Extract
  • 2 pears, peeled and cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup dried apricots, quartered
  • 1 cup dark raisins

Directions

  1. Simmer pomegranate juice, brown sugar, cinnamon, allspice, and vanilla and orange extracts in medium saucepan, stirring occasionally until sugar is dissolved. 2. Add pears, apricots and raisins. Simmer additional 5 minutes or until raisins are plump and liquid is slightly thickened. Cover.

  2. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
