Cabbage is an excellent source of vitamin C & also it is used in dieting program. Cabbage curry is one of the easiest way of having vitamin C & moreover it is not at all spicy.

Ingredients

  • 1. Cabbage : 1 piece (finely chopped)
  • 2. Potato : 2 pieces (diced)
  • 3. Whole cumin seeds : 1 tsp
  • 4. Bay Leaves : 1 piece
  • 5. Sugar : 1 tsp
  • 6. Green Chilli : 4 pieces (cut lengthwise)
  • 7. Tomato : 1 piece (chopped)
  • 8. Salt : to taste
  • 9. Ghee : 1 tbsp
  • 10. Oil : 1/2 cup
  • 11. Green Peas : 1 cup
  • 12. Ginger paste : 1 tbsp

Directions

  1. Heat oil in a wok.
  2. Add whole cumin seeds & bay leaves in low flame.
  3. Add potatoes. Stir well till golden brown.
  4. Add green peas, tomatoes. Stir for a minute.
  5. Add sugar, salt, ginger, green chilli.
  6. Add cabbage & stir well for 2 minutes.
  7. Cover & cook for 3 minutes.
  8. Uncover & stir till oil releases.
  9. Pour ghee before removing & serve hot with plain rice or chapatti.
