Chicken Roll is an excellent combination of flower & chicken. Chicken is a favourite to almost all & its spicy taste is even heightened in this well-known recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1. Onion : 2 pieces (chopped)
  • 2. Tomato sauce : 5 tbsp
  • 3. Chilli Sauce : 5 tbsp
  • 4. Green chilli : 4 pieces (chopped)
  • 5. Lemon juice : 3 tsp
  • 6. Salt : to taste
  • 7. Pepper : to taste
  • For the chicken filling:
  • Boneless chicken : 200 gm
  • Onion paste : 1 tsp
  • Ginger paste : 1 tsp
  • Garlic paste : 1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder : 1 tsp
  • Red chilli powder : 1 tsp
  • Pepper powder : 1/2 tsp
  • Salt : 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice : 1 tsp
  • For the dough:
  • Flour : 500 gm
  • Egg : 1 piece
  • Salt : 1 tsp
  • Oil : 1 tbsp
  • Hot water : as required

Directions

  1. For the filling:

  2. Wash & cut boneless chicken into bite size pieces.
  3. Take a bowl & mix onion paste, ginger paste, garlic paste, garam masala powder, red chilli powder, pepper powder, salt, lemon juice & chicken. Marinate for a couple of hour.
  4. Skew the chicken into skewer & grill into preheated oven at 200 degree temperature for 15 minutes.
  5. Keep aside the chicken kebab pieces.
  6. For the dough:

  7. Make a soft dough with flour, salt, beaten egg, oil & hot water.
  8. Cover it with a wet cotton cloth & keep aside for an hour.
  9. For the roll:

  10. Divide the dough into 5 balls.
  11. Roll out each ball using oil.
  12. Heat oil in non-stick pan.
  13. Fry the parathas one by one & keep aside.
  14. Now place a paratha on a plate. Put some chicken kebab pieces, onion, green chillies, tomato sauce, chilli sauce, lemon juice, salt & pepper into it.
  15. Roll it gently with a wrapping paper.
  16. Repeat the same procedure for remaining parathas.
  17. Serve hot.
