Ingredients

  • 1. Sona Moong Dal : 200 gm
  • 2. Carrot : 1 piece (chopped & boiled)
  • 3. Beans : 7 pieces (chopped & boiled)
  • 4. Coriander leaves : 2 tbsp (chopped)
  • 5. Tomato : 1 piece (chopped)
  • 6. Green Chilli : 2 pieces (slit)
  • 7. Dry red chilli : 1 piece (slit)
  • 8. Cumin seeds : 1/2 tsp
  • 9. Turmeric powder : 1/2 tsp
  • 10. Sugar : 1/2 tsp
  • 11. Salt : to taste
  • 12. Oil : 1 tbsp
  • 13. Ginger paste : 1 tsp
  • 14. Green peas : 1/2 cup
  • 15. Ghee : 1 tbsp

Directions

  1. Wash & boil the moong dal with 1 ½ cup of water, ½ tsp of salt, ½ tsp of turmeric powder. Keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Add red dry chilli & cumin seeds & stir.
  3. Add all the vegetables & dal & stir well.
  4. Add ginger paste, tomato, salt, sugar, green peas, green chillies & more 1 cup of water.
  5. Cook until it boils.
  6. Add coriander leaves & ghee & remove from heat.
  7. Serve hot with steamed rice.
