Quinoa

Cook time: 30 minutes
Serves 2 people

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup quinoa
  • 1 cup water

Directions

  1. Warm a saucepan over medium heat.

  2. Add quinoa and toast, stirring constantly, until golden and fragrant, about 4 minutes.

  3. Add water and bring to a boil.

  4. Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 15 minutes.

  5. Remove from heat and allow to stand 15 minutes more or until quinoa is soft and water is absorbed.
