Peach Pecan Upside doen cake

Ingredients

  • Pam Cooking Spray
  • 1 can (81/2 ounces) peach slices
  • 1/3 c packed brown sugar
  • 2 Tblsp butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/4 c chopped pecans
  • 1 pkg (16 ounces)pound cake mix, plus ingrediients to prepare pkg mix
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract

Directions

  1. Spray 7 1/2in round casserole or souffle dish with cooking spray, set aside.

  2. Drain peaches reserving 1 tblsp of juice. Combine reserved peach juice with brown sugar, and butter in preppared casserole dish. Arrange peach slices on top of brown sugar mix. sprinkle with pecans.

  3. Prepare cake mix according to directions, stir in almond extract. Spread over peach mix. Cover dish with foil or lid. Make foil handles, come under dish and up sides. (makes it easier to get it out of crock-pot)

  4. Place dish in slow cooker , cook on low for 4 1/2 hours or on High for 3 hours.

  5. Use foil handles to remove dish from slow cooker Cool uncovered on wire rack for 10 minutes. Run narrow spatula around sidesof dish. Invert onto serving plate. Serve warm.
