Cafe Lou Lou’s shrimp and grits – Sauce only

  • 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons hot sauce, such as Frank's or Texas Pete
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 20 20- to 25-count shrimp


  1. To make the sauce: Melt the 1/4-cup butter and mix with hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic and thyme.

  2. To make the shrimp: Saute shrimp with sauce, and when simmering add half- cup cream. Heat through, and pour over grits to serve.
